This week's Signals & Noise is up, and it is a busy one.

Tanker traffic through the Strait of Hormuz has fallen by two thirds since the Iran ceasefire came apart, and shipping insurance costs have jumped sevenfold. At home, ASIC has put the private credit sector on notice, a market that has grown from $35 billion to roughly $250 billion in a decade, much of it sitting inside superannuation. And the S&P 500 is now 521% above its March 2009 low, right in line with the scale of the last two secular tops before they turned.
